The Buccinulum corneum is a sea snail pertaining to Buccinidae family, often called Whelks. This species is distributed in the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Average size 5 cm but can grow ro 6.5cm. The snail often has vivid orange-amber colours. Scarce but not rare, specimens photographed on the Northern coast in Gozo.
